Rocking the Daisies

Yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! It's finally time for the annual Rocking the Daisies!!!

This is a very well-known festival all around South Africa, people travel from all over South Africa to attend this festival held in Darling every year. This year this festival took it up a notch by featuring the very famous international band; Bloc Party.

 This was one very eventful weekend!!!! Every day included walking around, looking at shops and getting intoxicated. At 8:00 in the mornings there was yoga classes surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The food court was amazing, ay food you can think of was offered.

There was also several tents, for every single person  you can imagine. There was the main stage that included all of the very famous bands, then the beach bar that was situated next to the river and playedreggae music. There was also a tent that featured very well-known comedians and famous films that played 24/7, another highlight was the barn which played old-school underground music. Then my favourite tent above all where i spent every second of my weekend was the Electro tent.

Overall this was one very memorable weekend. I also would like to commend the festival for their very well organized event, if you had any need or problem they solved it for you.
